Nepali basic lessons
If you only want to learn one word in Nepali, this would be "Namaste" (pronounced "na-ma-stay"). This word literaly means "I bow to the divine in you", but is used everyday to say "Hello". "Namaste" is usually spoken with a slight bow and hands pressed together, palms touching fingers and fingers pointing upwards, thumbs close to the chest.
