Chulu Far East Peak

Chulu Massif is located north of the Marshyangdi Khola in the Manang region and is part of the Manang Himal. This trek will take you through various landscape and culture. First, you will discover the Gurung people living in the subtropical lower reaches of the region, once you have gained in altitude, you will then meet the Manangba people of the upper valley known for its rhododendron and pine forests.

20 days - Itinerary

  • Day 11 - Climb to Chulu Far East Summit and return to base camp

  • Day 12 - Chulu Far East Summit to Manang

  • Day 13 - Manant to Yak Kharaka

  • Day 14 - Yak Kharaka to Throng high camp

  • Day 15 - Throng high camp to Muktinath via Throng-La

  • Day 16 - Muktinath to Jomsom

  • Day 17 - Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara

  • Day 18 - Flight or ride from Pokhara to Kathmandu

  • Day 19 - Rest day in Kathmandu

  • Day 20 - Depart from Kathmandu

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

  • Day 2 - Rest day in Kathmandu and climbing preparation

  • Day 3 - Drive from Kathmandu to Beshisahar, Khudi

  • Day 4 - Drive from Khudi to Chamche by jeep

  • Day 5 - Start of the trek from Chamche to Chame

  • Day 6 - Chame to Pisang Village

  • Day 7 - Pisang Village to Hunde

  • Day 8 - Hunde to Yak Kharaka

  • Day 9 - Yak Kharaaka to base camp

  • Day 10 - Chulu Far East Peak base camp to high camp
